In the study of the effectiveness of lympho aid, laser Doppler flowmetry was used.
Blood flow was measured using the Periflux PF4001 apparatus, which uses Blood Perfusion Units (BPU) based on the quantification of the Doppler effect in the microcirculation. The higher the BPU value, the better the blood flow in the test area.
The study was performed in vivo on a 16-year-old mare with a diagnosed circulatory problem and weakened blood vessels. Blood flow was measured prior to application of lympho aid and a checkpoint (zero) was determined. lympho aid was used twice a day for 56 days. The measurement was made at points D7, D28 and D56.
